As a member of Union Power Cooperative you have a voice. Each year in the fall, Union Power Cooperative hosts its Annual Membership Meeting. The 2026 Annual Membership Meeting is scheduled for Saturday, October 3, 2026, at Lee Park Church in Monroe, NC.
Meet This Year’s Band!
Tim Graves and The Farm Hands is one of the most exciting and in-demand bands in Bluegrass Music. Since 2010, the band has received over 82 award nominations, winning an unprecedented 34 major awards, including Bluegrass Gospel Band of the Year at the 2019 and 2020 Bluegrass Music Awards.
The group features four award-winning singers, musicians, and songwriters, including two long-time veterans of Nashville’s Grand Ole Opry. The group had a #1 song, called “Pride,” the classic song first released by Ray Price in the 1960’s, which was #2 on the list of the top 200 Artists of 2021 worldwide. Tim Graves and The Farm Hands are the only group in the bluegrass genre with Bluegrass DNA passed down from the first generation of Bluegrass Music Greats. Additionally, this group has a number one song in the charts again titled “She’s Gone, Gone, Gone,” a Harlan Howard song first recorded by Lefty Frizzell and later by Glen Campbell. The version that Tim Graves and The Farm Hands have is a bit different but just as appealing to the listener.

A “Creative” Caterer
Owned and operated out of Union County, Creative Food Concepts will serve breakfast at this year’s Annual Meeting. Creative Food Concepts is a former Union County Chamber Small Business of the Year winner. For several years, CFC has also been the Union County Weekly’s Best Caterer of the Year. CFC plans to bring a breakfast that will get you powered up for our Annual Membership Meeting.
