How do I get power turned on at my new home?

Complete Union Power’s Application for Service and provide proof of ownership or a rental agreement. The application asks for at least 72 hours’ notice. If you have had an active account in the past 12 months, call 800-922-6840, option 4, instead of applying again.

  1. Have your service address and documents ready.
  2. Submit the application at least 72 hours before you need power.
  3. Confirm the start date; new construction may need more coordination.
