Call 704-289-3145 if a damaged, dying or leaning tree threatens Union Power’s lines, and the cooperative will assess whether it qualifies as a risk tree. Qualifying risk trees are cut at no cost to the member, and removing the debris afterward is the member’s responsibility.
- Describe the location and the concern to customer service.
- Let Union Power assess any work needed near its lines.
- Never attempt to trim vegetation near an energized line yourself.
