- Winter energy, November through May: $0.105776 per kWh for the first 1,000 kWh, and $0.100776 for everything above that.
- The minimum monthly charge is the basic facilities charge.

Prepaid service (Schedule PS)

- Energy: $0.105122 per kWh
- No monthly bill is issued. Charges are deducted from the prepaid balance daily, and a minimum prepayment is required to start.
Members with solar (Small Qualifying Facilities Rider)
Union Power does not offer net metering. Energy delivered into the system earns a credit rather than offsetting purchased power one for one.
- Basic facilities charge: $7.00 per month
- Energy credit for delivered power: $0.042500 per kWh
- Available to generating facilities selling no more than 25 kW, and the meter is set so it cannot register in reverse.
- Power used when the system is not generating is billed on the applicable residential schedule.
Public EV charging (Schedule PCSS)
- Level 2 charging: $0.260600 per kWh
- Level 3 fast charging: $0.521200 per kWh
- Idle charges vary by location and are posted at each station. Payment is by card at the site.
Common member fees
From the fee schedule effective January 1, 2026.
- Residential security deposit: $175 or $375, depending on a soft credit check, and it may be waived.
- Meter test: $75, refunded if the meter is found to be in error by more than plus or minus 2 percent.
- Home energy audit: no charge for the first audit in a 12-month period, $150 for each additional audit in that period.
- Solar or battery interconnection application: $250, one time and non-refundable.
Two things that apply to every schedule
A wholesale power cost adjustment is applied to all kilowatt-hours billed, which reflects what Union Power pays for power. Applicable state and local sales tax is added as well. Payments are due on the date shown on the bill, typically 25 days after the bill date.
