Union Power Reports No Outages with Winter Weather

Sleet and snow fell as predicted overnight and this morning in the five-county region served by Union Power. “We are pleased to report at this time the winter storm has not resulted in any power outages,” says Luanne Sherron, vice president of communications. Union Power Cooperative has crews ready and on standby in the event they are needed and is ready to address outages to restore power as quickly as possible.

Members of Union Power Cooperative can report their outages by calling our Outage Reporting Number at 1-800-794-4423.  If your telephone number is not recognized when you call in, you will need your account number or meter number to report your outage. This helps us restore your power more quickly.

Always stay away from downed power lines and report them immediately by calling  911.

Union Power Cooperative is a member-owned electric cooperative, which provides electric service to more than 65,000 members in Union, Stanly, Mecklenburg, Cabarrus, and Rowan counties.
