Home Electrical & Water Heater Maintenance Program

The Home Electrical and Water Heater Maintenance Program is an affordable way to maintain your water heater and electrical needs.

Water Heater System Coverage includes:

• Water heater breaker
• Heating elements
• Reset switch
• Thermostats

Maintenance Plan does NOT cover:
Plumbing, such as installation of a new water heater or repair of leaking pipes.

Home Electrical System Coverage includes:

• Repair of existing electrical outlets and switches
• Replace existing fuses and breakers
• Repair of existing wiring, such as a short

Maintenance Plan does NOT cover:
Cost and labor to install new fixtures, such as floodlights, ceiling fans, bulb changing, overhead light fixture, and panel change outs. A panel change out is not maintenance. A new panel is like a new fixture, which is not covered under the plan. Wiring to newly constructed areas of the home, for example a room addition or adding a new circuit for a new light or wall receptacle is not covered. Appliance repairs are not covered.

Program Requirements:

• Must be a Union Power member
• Cost is $3.99 per month billed on your electrical bill
• Terms of contract for 12 months minimum with automatic annual renewal

There is a maximum of $200 per contract year and does not carry over or accumulate. Contract price is subject to change upon annual renewal.
