Refrigerator & Freezer Recycle Program
Save Energy, Save Money!
Here’s a good reason to get rid of that old refrigerator or freezer in your garage. An old refrigerator or freezer requires an average of 700 to 1,600 kilowatt-hours (kWh) to operate annually. According to the website Energystar.gov, conservative estimates based on national averages report that getting rid of a spare fridge or freezer can amount to an annual savings of $100 on your electric bill.
We’ll give you $50 to let us properly recycle your old, working refrigerator or freezer. We’ll even pick it up, free of charge, without you having to lift a finger!

- Refrigerators and freezers turned in for recycling must be in working condition (cooling), 10-30 cubic feet and owned by you.
