Basketball Camp Scholarship Applications

Union Power, along with North Carolina's Touchstone Energy cooperatives, is pleased to provide the opportunity for young men and women to attend basketball camps. The staff of each camp will work closely with these young men and women to develop the fundamentals of basketball, provide individual and team competition that challenges young athletes to excel on and off the court.

Applications are accepted from January through March with winner announcements to be made in early May. Winners of the Touchstone Energy Camp scholarships will attend the overnight basketball camp, courtesy of Union Power Cooperative and North Carolina's electric cooperatives.

Scholarship recipients must have permission from a parent or guardian to attend the camp and provide their own transportation to and from camp.

Union Power proudly sponsors these scholarships through the local public school systems in our service territory, including Union, Stanly, Cabarrus, Mecklenburg, and Rowan counties.

Applicants are judged on their academics, extra-curricular activities, and an essay that must accompany the application. Click here for more information on both camps.
