To Report an Outage:

• Our dispatchers are on call, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Our automated outage system records your location by your phone number. This is why it's so important for you to keep us informed of any changes to your telephone number to help us locate your home easily during an outage.

• If the outage reporting system does not recognize your phone number you will be prompted to enter in your account number or meter number. Both of these numbers are found on your monthly bill.  

• Call anytime your power is out. Don't assume that others have reported the outage. Crews will be dispatched immediately.

If Your Power is Out:

• Check your home's breaker panel and any outdoor disconnects to make sure the outage isn't due to a tripped breaker.
• Call your neighbors to see if their power is off. This will help you determine if the problem exists in your home or on our lines.
• If you determine the problem is outside your home, call Union Power Cooperative's outage reporting number at 1.800.794.4423.
