Advanced Metering Infrastructure
You may see our contract personnel changing out meters in your area. These personnel will carry cards identifying them as Union Power contract workers. Personnel will not need access to the inside of your home, business, or building. All Union Power members will receive postcard notification prior to meter change outs and door cards once the new advanced meters have been installed. Interruption of power during meter change out should last less than a minute.
